Flat Mafia will Be Imprisoned

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama asserted that will imprison flat mafia. Some of them have been arrested in a joint raid held in Marunda flat, North Jakarta, on last Wednesday (10/28).

According to him, formerly there were some individuals of the flat who want to do demonstration at City Hall. But before demonstrating, the joint raid has been held by Jakarta Housing and Government's Buildings Department, Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Department, North Jakarta Metro Resort Police, and North Jakarta Satpol PP.

"They're about to hold demonstration, but it's cancelled as they're already arrested beforehand. I want flat mafia to be imprisoned," he asserted, at City Hall, Thursday (10/29).

Raid Against Illegal Occupant & Flat Mafia Intensified

Basuki wants the raid to be held routinely. It would give deterrent effect to them.

As known, there were 7 flat units sealed during a joint raid held yesterday. Officers then took the occupants' stuffs out of the flat.

The occupants netted have no appropriate ID Card based on the flat address. The perpetrators will be processed as applicable law to court.
